On the some of my painted works, both in my house and in my customers houses, I have asked that you not pretend that you painted my works.  Due to a message I received I need to clarify.  I am not concerned that you are going to go to the houses and steal the paint off the wall or ceiling or anything for that matter.  I do not want inexperienced painters to claim to have done my work and present it to a customer as theirs.  This is to protect the consumer.  If you hire someone who has spent over 30 years painting you generally get higher quality work than if you hire someone who has only been painting 3 years.  I am no longer in the faux finish biz so I could care less about competition.  Not that I would turn down a good mural job... I still like doing those.
